I’ve been a Realtor Associate for 18 years in Hawai‘i and a registered nurse since 1988 when I graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. In 1993, I accepted a traveling nurse assignment at Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women and Children, and I’ve called O‘ahu home since then. I believe in the adage “live what you love”.
The flexibility of my real estate practice allows me to split my time as a Realtor and also, as a Pediatric Sedation nurse. My circle of influence consists mostly of medical professionals, but I have also worked with first-time buyers, military families and mainland investors. I love assisting my clients in achieving their dream of becoming homeowners.
Originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania, I worked for two years at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit before traveling across the country for three years. After moving to Hawai‘i in 1993, I bought my first home in Hawai‘i Kai in 1998.
At the same time that I received my real estate license, I began investing in real estate. As an investor and salesperson, I have firsthand knowledge and experience to share with my clients. I love assisting my clients in achieving their dream of becoming homeowners.
Although I loved our home in Hawai‘i Kai, we were planning to foster two severely disabled boys that I was taking care of at the hospital. Our Hawai‘i Kai home was not wheelchair accessible, so we started our search, which brought us to Kailua.
Our newly built home in Coconut Grove was perfect for our disabled foster sons. In addition, I had two sons of my own. We are still in the same home in Kailua with one of our former foster sons, now 23, and my two teenagers.
I love living in Kailua. My hobbies include outdoor activities like biking and walking the beach. I also enjoy taking exercise classes several times a week. In my free time, I am usually volunteering with my son's theater group or reading a good book. Although I live in one of the most beautiful places in the world, I enjoy international travel several times a year!
