Growing up in Northern California Tim spent his youth living the outdoor lifestyle which helped sculpt his passion and drive to seek the unknown.
After graduating from California Polytechnic State University with a BS in City and Regional Planning, Tim returned home to the Bay Area. Tim managed a retail store by day and a valet company in nearby San Francisco by night. Tim honed his customer service skills and turned toward finance where he took a position in retirement services in San Francisco's Financial District. Tim's personality and drive opened the door to a boutique mutual fund company as a investor relations manager and ultimately lead to a position as a Senior Funding Officer for a San Francisco based finance company. During his 19 years in the financial industry Tim was always dreaming of the tropics which landed him on the beautiful Island of Maui where he resides with his wife and beautiful twin daughters.
