Originally from Nepal, I moved to the United States (2004) to pursue higher education. After graduating with honors from Bemidji State University, majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance (2007), I moved to San Francisco, California where I worked in the hospitality industry for four years. Upon moving to the Pacific (2012), I was very lucky to have found a wonderful local reforestation project to work for on the Big Island of Hawaii. I learned a lot about different aspects of Hawaii, its business culture and trade as I continued working for local businesses over the years. My education coupled with working alongside people from all walks of life has helped me develop valuable business skills that can only be acquired through experience.
Currently, I live with my husband, Lex Ferguson, on the beautiful island of Oahu, I am a daughter, a sister and soon to be a mother who feels blessed to be surrounded by a wonderful community of friends and their aloha. Exploring the island, cooking, gardening, beaching and going out on food ventures with my husband are some of my favorite things to do. I am also a certified yoga instructor and an interior design enthusiast.
