Being On HGTV Helps Sell Your Property!

While it can’t directly be attributed to being on HGTV’s “Hawaii Life,” it certainly didn’t hurt!

A record-breaking sale dropped at International Colony Club in Kaanapali, which happened shortly after the airing of season 11 episode 13 “Fishing For a New Life.”

ICC #22 sold for $615,000 (MLS # 377020) and went to contract after only 22 days on market. Having Hawaii Life’s Smart Marketing and Solid Representation never hurts.

A previous Hawaii Life blog I had written on the International Colony Club, Kaanapali Living – Planes, Trains, and Golf Carts (and Horses Too!) gives you a good idea of the complex and history of the area.

Looking back, this was the highest sale in the last 3 years, since unit #4 sold for $650,00 on 02/25/15 (MLS #362381), and the third highest in the last decade, when unit #25 closed for $625,00 on 08/20/08 (MLS# 325981).

With the median sales price of a single family home on Maui County hovering around $700k, being able to find a free-standing residential condominium cottage like one of the 44 units at International Colony Club is a great find.
