Originally from New England, Hawaii’s surf and warm weather brought my husband and me to beautiful Oahu in 1988. I have been a licensed Realtor in the state of Hawaii since 2001, and a Broker since 2007. With its diverse culture and friendly atmosphere, it wasn't a difficult choice to remain in this unique and wonderful place we’ve called home for 30 years!
My interest in real estate was sparked when we purchased, built and sold many of our own homes, and I decided to help others do the same. Having worked as a preschool teacher, a graphic artist, a magazine art director and art teacher, and even a bartender, I brought a broad set of applicable and practical skills to my real estate career.
When I first moved to Hawaii, my entrepreneurial spirit led me to establish my own business designing logos, brochures and other print advertising materials under the banner of Gina Overton Designs.
Surrounded by Hawaii’s abundant natural beauty, I was inspired to paint again, and Gina Overton Designs soon included a hand-painted clothing line "Designs by GiGi."
Running my own business and working in fields that incorporated marketing, design and client service, as well as following trends, provided me with a toolkit for the real estate industry.
My art background and my eye for design have proven very valuable in home staging for my clients, and often, my paintings are used to enhance the properties I’m preparing to sell. Also a Certified Home Stager and Redesigner, I can help you ReDesign your existing property or Stage and Prepare your home for Sale!
In my free time, I enjoy surfing, SUPing, hiking, gardening, painting, photography, and Wine! True to Oahu's namesake as ‘The Gathering Place’ I also love spending time with my family and friends.
I specialize in residential real estate sales and marketing, home staging, and client services in the Oahu, Hawaii real estate market.

Superlative, dedicated, professional, ethical, efficient, caring, resourceful, comprehensive, joyful, diplomatic, knowledgeable, focused, practical - these are only a partial list of words to describe Gina Overton. She helped us sell our home in Manoa, were we lived and had raised our family in of over 47 years, It was traumatic to downsize from a 3 bedroom house to a 2 room apartment in CA. Gina helped us with a pre-sale plan of purging, movers, containers, even taking donations to the GoodWill for us, so we could move off island before the sale. She even drove us to the airport! After we moved, she Staged the property and sent us pictures of her Staging. We loved it so much and laughed that we were tempted to buy the house back! After the survey discovered a few unfortunate violations, Gina knew who to contact to solve these problems. Even during our signing she guided us via telephone 3000 miles away.
We were blessed to have chosen Gina as our Realtor.
Gina is a superb agent. She constantly kept me current every step through the selling process. When problems occurred she made sure the problem was resolved properly and to my best interest.
The highlight of Gina's talent was her Staging of my condo - presenting an attractive and homey feel. I am convinced that it was Gina's presentation of my condo which produced an offer within the first few days of the property being listed - an offer considerably greater than the listing price! I honestly don't know what more Gina could have done to make the selling experience any less stressful.
