Colleen was born and raised in Kailua, on the island of Oʻahu, and grew up at the beach and horseback riding in Waimanalo. Her familiarity with Maui began in childhood where she spent summers visiting family in Lahaina, her father’s home. After high school, Colleen moved to Billings, Montana. There she enrolled at Rocky Mountain College, in their Equine Science program, “It was one of the BEST times of my life! Needless to say, I realized I needed a more practical profession.” Colleen then switched majors and earned her Bachelors of Science in Sociology and Environmental Studies.
Prior to Real Estate, Colleen had worked in Cultural Resource Management; archaeology, cultural land management, consulting and planning, which gives her a unique depth of knowledge when it comes to understanding Maui’s Real Estate. Additionally, she has worked in property management, managing long and short-term rentals since 2013. Colleen has a deep interest in all things historic; culture, arts, traditions, lands, properties, and especially, historic homes. Colleen lives in Kula with her husband, four children, their dog Maka and cats Misty and Leo.
