REALTOR BROKER, BIC, MRP, MST

One thing that has always stuck with me in my professional life is customer service. I believe strongly in treating people as you would want to be treated. This philosophy has been a part of my business life since day one. Keeping my clients informed, updated, and understanding the real-estate process is my number one goal. Customer service is vitally important in all aspects of dealing with any real estate transaction.

A little about me. I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois growing up in the southern suburbs and eventually moving downtown to Wrigleyville, home of the Cubs. My next stop was Miami, Florida, where I met my beautiful wife of over 25 plus years, and we had our two amazing boys, Tyler and Jake. Soon after, we moved to raise the kids in Castle Pines, Colorado, and enjoyed our share of the cold weather. After numerous vacations to Hawaii, we decided to make Oahu our home now many years back, and that was the best decision we ever made. Tyler is now working with the company as an agent and I could not be any prouder.

I have been a successful entrepreneur owning and operating numerous businesses over my professional career. No business has been more rewarding than being a Broker In Charge. I have had the ability to package all my business skills into helping my clients. I am a proud member and the lead Broker of the Hawaii Life MST (Military Specialized Team). I am MRP certified, a member of the HL Zillow Team, and have helped clients buy and sell properties all over the island.

After a certain amount of time of being a full-time agent, you have the ability to expand your knowledge base by becoming a Broker. This includes a rigorous amount of classroom education and a very comprehensive two-part test. I am very pleased to be a part of an elite group of Brokers in Hawaii. The vast majority of agents in Hawaii do not strive for the extra level of education and a higher designation. Once you become a broker, if an opportunity arises, you can become a Broker In Charge. This is the second highest responsibility a Hawaii Broker can have just short of being the owner or principal broker of a real estate business. I am very proud and pleased to have achieved the status and qualifications to become the Hawaii Life Broker In charge of Oahu and managing broker. This is something that I do not take lightly and hopefully shows my dedication to the business.

I am also pleased to announce that I have been given additional corporate roles with Hawaii Life as the Director Of Sales and Business Development. This gives me the ability to work with our current agents & brokers and help attract new talent and identify new opportunities for growth.

In short, I am constantly perfecting the craft and contract part of real estate so that I make sure I am always improving. You have to do more and be better always.

I am extremely happy to have been selected for the last several years as a Top Performer in Real Estate as published by Hawaii Business Magazine, had properties featured on the cover of Concierge Auctions, and been nominated for the last several years as an Aloha Aina recipient. Additionally to have had some of my listings featured in Mansion Global and Forbes, along with being recognized by Hawaii Life as a top producer.

It sounds cliche, but all brokers are really not all the same. I look forward to helping you either buy, sell or just become better informed about the process. In Real-estate you need representation from someone who can negotiate, that has been around the block, bought and sold numerous properties at all price points, and fully understands the process. I hope I can be that agent for you and your family.

Aloha,
David
