Big Island Agents: Kathy Awai, R(S), ABR

Kathy moved to the Big Island in 1981 and has never regretted it. Prior to that, she made her home in the coastal area of Laguna Beach, California.

Having spent over 20 years in the sales industry and for the past 11 years, selling real estate has given her the opportunity to develop many relationships and friendships. She places a strong emphasis on client/customer satisfaction, always striving to make her transactions a positive experience for everyone involved. Kathy focuses on selling the Waimea, Waikoloa and Kohala Coastal Resort areas.

Because of her familial background, Kathy speaks Russian as a second language. She is a member and volunteer of the Waikoloa Outdoor Circle. In between selling real estate, she enjoys working out at the Mauna Lani Fitness Center as well as reading, gardening and of course, doing a little ‘beach time.’ Kathy feels it’s important to take the time to reflect on how beautiful her surroundings are and how lucky she is to live in such a special place.
