Big Island Agents: Tara Kelly, R(S), SFR, CSP

Tara first fell in love with the Hawaiian Islands in the 1980’s when she was a teenager and performed at the Hula Bowl at halftime at the Pro Bowl. In 2001, she moved to the Islands and has never looked back.

Tara has over 16 years of real estate experience. During that time she has had the pleasure of working with some off the nation’s finest real estate developers in Utah, Kauai, and the Big Island, and now with Hawaii Life. In her real estate career she has achieved her CSP/Certified New Home Sales Professional and SFR/Short Sales Foreclosure Resources designations. She is honored to have had the opportunity to work with a North Shore Kauai group at historic Nui’olo Kai on the remote Na Pali Coast, to help restore a cherished site of the first Kauai settlement of South Pacific Islanders who bravely traveled across the Pacific to create a settlement on Kauai thousands of years ago. Through this amazing cooperation with native islanders, Tara has developed a true respect of the past, malama, and the urgent need to restore this history while carefully crafting island development for the future.

Tara extends her friendship and aloha spirit to everyone she meets and works with. She listens and knows how to help you make important decisions about your home and living environment. For fun, you can find Tara out on the beautiful Kona waters, fishing and scuba diving with her husband, son, and her German shepherd, “Belle.” Her love of the ocean has led Tara to become a certified scuba instructor and obtain her captain’s license.
