Kevin Spaise was drawn to Maui ten years ago by the incredible outdoor lifestyle, which he balances with an active real estate career focused on the South Maui (Kihei and Wailea) market.
He is the former high-speed test driver and Editor for an offshore powerboat magazine, and has written for more than 15 magazines. In 2009, he combined his journalism and publishing background with his knowledge of Maui real estate, and published The Maui Condo Book (www.TheMauiCondoBook.com), a 400-page reference directory used by top island real estate agents, brokers, appraisers, title and escrow offices, and investors. The new 2011 update was just completed.
His leisure time is spent on or near the water, where he enjoys boating, stand-up paddleboarding, hiking, and the amazing Maui beaches. He also plays first base and pitches for the Kihei Centipedes hardball team. His wife, Sherry, is an avid recreational surfer and owner-operator of MauiInfo.com, a travel agency specializing in Maui vacation rental accommodations. They have two sons, Luke and Ryan.
