Mindy first came to Kauai in 1997 and continued coming back every 3 - 4 months to visit.   In 2002, she found a home in Kauai and closed escrow on her home in early 2003.  At this time, she was a successful commercial property manager for HRPT/REIT in San Diego and postponed her move to Kauai until 2006.  Her commercial property manager background included managing high rise and low rise office buildings in which she was very successful.  Building occupancies were 85 - 100% occupied under her management.  Her tenants and vendors could see that she would get results for their issues and for building improvements in a timely manner.  She became close to many of the tenants and still maintains many friendships from this experience. 

Upon moving to Kauai, Mindy knew she would change her career path to residential real estate sales.  So she went to work for Hanalei North Shore Properties as a vacation rental agent to get her more familiar with the Kauai real estate market and the island.  Once she received her license she began her real estate career.  Mindy is part of the team that merged from Hanalei North Shore Properties to Hawaii Life in the August of 2009.

Prior to moving to Kauai she traveled the west coast from San Diego to Canada for 2 months in the summer of 2006.  Also has traveled to Italy, Greece, Turkey, France, Switzerland and parts of Mexico.  She is also enjoys the many outdoor activities that this island has to offer.
