In 1979, at the adventurous age of 10, I moved to Hawaii with my family. We spent our first summer, anchored in Hanalei Bay, living on a sailboat and soaking up the magic and adventures all around us. Then, with the approach of the winter season and high surf, we retreated to terra firma and moved into a home on the beach...

I love this beautiful island and feel very grateful to live here. I am a "Kauai Boy" at heart - I love our sun and our rain! Professionally, I am a licensed real estate broker with Hawaii Life Real Estate Services. I also own and operate my own land-use and project consulting business, Landmark Consulting Services. My rolls as Realtor and planner complement each other and provide crossover benefits to my clients. With over 20-years of combined experience and an extensive knowledge of Kauai's current regulatory and development environment, I offer unparalleled representation and valuable insights to all of my clients.

Education

I attended grade school in Hanalei, high school in Kapaa, and then went on to the University of Colorado where I earned a degree in International Business and graduated Summa Cum Laude at the very top of my class. Following college, I fed my wanderlust, traveling extensively in places like Nepal, Tahiti, New Zealand, Indonesia and Mexico. I also worked for many summer seasons as a boat captain guiding tours along Kauai's famed Na Pali Coast and then as a fly-fishing guide in Alaska's Bristol Bay.

In addition to my busy career life, I try to find time to work on community and non-profit projects. I am currently involved in The North Shore Path project, a private/public partnership for the development of a biking and walking path to link together the communities of Kilauea, Princeville and Hanalei.

When I am not working, you will find me surfing, fishing, practicing yoga, or riding my mountain bike. I live on the North Shore with my beautiful wife Courtney who is also a seasoned Hawaii Life Realtor and an expecting mother to be.
