Avoiding Dual Agency
For those of you who have worked with Hawaii Life Real Estate Services before, you are probably aware of our stance on dual agency. If not, here is what we have to say on the matter (taken from our Sellers Services page):
“You’re our client, and we take that very seriously. We actively avoid representing both buyer and seller in the same transaction. We’re committed to our fiduciary responsibilities of loyalty and obedience to you, so we avoid what’s called a “Dual Agency” transaction in which we “represent” both parties. More »

Puu Poa View of Bali Hai
One of my favorite places to surf is at Hideaways in Princeville Resort. And every time I’m out in the water I’m staring back at the beautiful Puu Poa condominium complex…day dreaming about what it would be like to own one of these units. Not only are they beautiful, but I could check the surf from my bed when I wake up every morning!

Of course, if you’re like me and can’t afford to buy one of these you can always vacation rent one. Here are some owner direct vacation Puu Poa condos.

I saw the Best Real Estate Ad Ever posted at one of my favorite blogs, Future of Real Estate Marketing, and I had to share it with our readers! I have to give credit to our Principal Broker, Matt Beall, for finding this.
It’s not the way Hawaii Life Real Estate does business, but it’s very honest and you have to respect that…

If you’re going to buy a home in Hawaii then you will need to determine whether any person other than the seller has any right, lien, claim or encumbrance on that property so that you can be sure you are buying the home free and clear. This is where a Title Company comes in.
A Title Company will do extensive research through public records and provide a report. At this point Title insurance can be issued which will eliminate risks and prevent losses that can occur when a title is defective.

If you’re looking for a deal on a luxury condo in Hawaii check out our Top 10 Hawaii Condo Deals we posted over at TopTenRealEstateDeals.com. Not only will you find amazing deals on luxury Hawaii condos, but you can vote on which properties you think are the best deals. Pretty cool, huh?
In the top 10 list you will find a “half price” foreclosure along with some huge price reductions. There’s even a unit that is the lowest price ever offered for its floor plan within the complex.
This shows the potential for how many great deals are on the market right now. Whether you’re looking for a deal on a Hawaii home or condo, even in the non “luxury” property segment, Hawaii Life can help.
