E Komo Mai - Welcome! Aloha and Welcome to Kauai! After traveling extensively to over 80 countries, I feel there is no better place on earth to live than here on Kauai! Let me show you how Kauai can be your home, or your home away from home! I grew up on the Missouri River in a small town called Chamberlain. After a move to the Black Hills, I relocated to the small California town of Los Gatos. Finally, after many years of vacationing on Kauai, sometimes for a month, or more, this wonderful island became our family home. I love the island lifestyle and enjoy the beauty of Kauai with my wife of 20 years, Kimberly, and our children Alexandre & Franceska. A love for the friendly people, relaxed lifestyle and tropical lushness of Kauai, as well as raising a family, impelled us to move to the breathtaking North Shore of Kauai. My distinctive interest is to find you what your idea of paradise is, whether it be a residence, grass shack, condo, or secluded estate showcasing Kauai's natural beauty. A distinction I offer is that as I also design homes. I see the possibilities a property can offer, and have a highly developed vision of what a property can become. As part of my team, a talented Designer, Kimberly, my wife, has assisted clients in embracing the island lifestyle through color and Interior Design, as well as, by Interior Staging. My knowledge of the island of Kauai will help you discover why the locals say Kauai is "no ka oi" -The BEST! For realistic insight into the Kauai real estate market, whether you wish to purchase, sell or invest in a home, condo, or land, please feel free to call me at: 808.639.9221 or e-mail me at: Glenn@HawaiiLife.com Let me assist you, and your family, in finding your dream in paradise and turn it into your reality!

Kaua’i – What a place to live!  What a place to make your life what you want it to be!

Not only do I get to have fun in real estate making people’s dreams come true, I also get to design dream homes!

And, what a dramatic setting Kaua’i is for making dreams come true! To see someone’s breath caught away when they find the perfect property, or in describing their perfect dream home, the saying comes to mind,

“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away”. — Anonymous.

An acquaintance once said that Kaua’i has a serendipity for those who truly want to be here, in that all kinds of dreams become reality. Taking dreams, finding the right property, or designing the right home can transform your life.  If you are called to live on Kaua’i, you are one of the chosen few.  Celebrate it, celebrate all that is great with life, the satisfaction & joy of life in Hawai’i!

The family at the 'Pink Palace'

The family at the 'Pink Palace'

My six year old daughter was thrilled to stay at the ‘Pink Palace’, the Royal Hawaiian Hotel on Waikiki, and by the way, so were we!!  After having tea & enjoying the gardens with her mother two years ago, she has been begging to stay, so what a great surprise!

So, finally, here she was, living the life of a Princess, though she told me to stop calling her ‘Your Royal Highness’.  The Royal Hawaiian Hotel is a delightful palace, more like your residence than a hotel, with beautiful architecture, furnishings & wonderful staff . My nine year old son was more than thrilled when checking in, as he was spoken to by his name. He said ‘This is the life!  It’s like in the movies.” We definitely recommend the Ocean Royal Beach Tower & sumptuous Royal Beach Club with its breath-taking views of the beach, sparkling ocean & iconic Diamond Head. Newly renovated, the hotel is beautiful, spic & span with luxury from top to bottom. The beds are oh-so-comfy with soft, feel good high-thread count sheets, snuggly down pillows & the best pull-up-around you comforters.  In addition to the relaxing “Pink Palace’ pool, there is the extravaganze pool, the Helumoa Playground, with water slide, waterways & two whirlpools the children (and adults) will want to enjoy. Lounge chairs in the pool were our favorites, particularly for lunch with just right mai tais. Waikiki is a also great place for paddle boarding & maybe some surfing.  Barney, one of Waikiki’s famous Beach Boys was as friendly as you could ever wish.  In the mornings, we woke to yummy & I mean yummy continental breakfasts with soft, flaky chocolate croissants, tasty baguettes, fruit & fresh coffee. How good was everything?  We changed our flights so we could stay another night. Frankly, we don’t care if we ever stay at a different hotel on Waikiki ever again. More »
