When Cate first landed on Kauai in 1998, she instantly felt connected to the island’s majestic beauty. The lush, tropical climate, the rural character of the North Shore, the turquoise water and fresh cascading waterfalls…all of it inspired her (and 6 of her 9 siblings!) to plant roots and finally have a place to call home. She graduated with Honors from CU-Boulder, with a degree in Geography & Environmental Studies. For nearly a decade, Cate owned a professional childcare service on Kauai where she worked extensively with visitors, part-time residents, and luxury resort concierge. Having sold that business, her detail-oriented approach to real estate remains very similar. She enjoys the diversity of people that are attracted to Kauai and takes time with each client, listening to their specific priorities and interests, and matchmaking accordingly. Years of living and networking amongst the island’s tight-knit community has given her a deep understanding of Kauai’s lifestyle and culture.
