Kauai Golf Courses | Immaculate Course Conditions, Oceanfront Holes & More

One of the biggest pastimes of both residents and visitors to Kaua’i is golfing. Designed by some of the most coveted golf course architects, such as Jack Nicklaus, Robin Nelson, and Robert Trent Jones Jr., these courses were designed to exemplify the topography and beauty of all Kaua’i has to offer.

There are 8 public courses on island (the Prince Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. is currently closed), 7 of which are active and open. From North to South, there is a lot of variety between these courses, and real estate surrounding them! Take a look below for more information on the courses themselves, and some of my favorite listings that are within walking distance to them.

Please see the following websites for information on each particular course:

The Makai course is really nice. They were totally re-doing the Prince course, which was already phenomenal. It is a lot of fun to play and they have these golf carts that look like skateboards which are certainly an interesting option.
