19th Annual Tropical Paws Benefit Event at the Four Seasons Hualalai Resort

If anyone knows me, they’ll be quick to tell you that I am a huge advocate of Hawaii Island Humane Society (HIHS)! There’s something about volunteering for the sake of animals that just warms my heart and soul!

Hawaii Island Humane Society

Hawaii Island Humane Society has a great mission. Their mission is to prevent cruelty to animals, eliminate pet overpopulation, and enhance the bond between humans and animals. Established in 1965, HIHS is serving the Big Island community with three shelters island-wide.

Their services include: Shelter for homeless, stray, injured, lost, and abandoned animals, animal adoptions, Humane Education Programs for children and administration, and promotion of the Spay/Neuter Community Assistance Program.

Yes! There are often even puppies available for adoption at these events!

They are truly a huge part of our community, which is why it brings me great joy to let you know that the 19th Annual Tropical Paws Benefit Event is being held Friday, March 27th at the Four Seasons Hualalai Resort, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

All proceeds from the evening help to support Hawaii Island Humane Society’s Second Chance Fund and the Spay/Neuter Community Assistance Program.

Tickets are available now and may be purchased at HIHS’s Keaau, Waimea, and Kona shelters or online. Tickets are $135 per person or $2,000 for a reserved table of ten (A portion of each table sale is tax deductible as allowed by law). Be sure to get your tickets today!

Hi Julie, I love this event. And don’t forget about Hawaii Horse Expo in August, which benefits their Equine fund!

Julie,

So sorry that you weren’t able to attend this year – I wasn’t either but I am happy to report that the HIHS received a $1,000,000 donation from two happy patrons! So lucky we live Hawaii! Such generous people around here!
