Oahu Holiday Events – Enjoying Our Hawaii Life

The air has turned chilly, really! The colder North winds are blowing and our “winter” is here. It’s true that Hawaii is known for its year-round sunshine, but we still have seasons although much more subtle. As snowbirds from the Mainland and Canada will make their way to the islands, I wanted to make sure that locals and visitors alike enjoy our unique holiday celebrations!

Popular Holiday Celebrations

1. Shaka Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the Honolulu City Lights Parade is a favorite that will happen Saturday, December 6th at 6pm. Here’s a complete list of Oahu parades.

2. Even more special to our water lifestyle is the 18th Annual Festival of Lights Boat Parade coming up December 20th at 6pm. This is really a spectacular way to enjoy the Marina and get in the holiday spirit.

3. New to the lineup is the Koko Crater Equestrian Center Family Fun Day & Benefit on Sunday, December 7th with pony rides, polo, music, and food. This will be a lot of fun for our whole community and you can even hike the stairs to burn off the extra holiday goodies, or just relax at the botanic gardens.

A Wonderful Time of the Year

Let us not forget that it’s also the time of year to show gratitude, and to that end I will make a donation to the Hawaii Life Charitable Foundation on behalf of each client closing a sale.

Happy Holidays to you and your family!
