For Sale

Princeville Ocean View Home (Newly Listed)

I often don’t go to Realtor “caravans” in Princeville. (You know, those days when all the Realtors get together and hold their listings open for other agents to views.) It’s not because I don’t want to keep up with the inventory (or the lack thereof), or because I don’t want to support my fellow Realtors… but because I’ve already seen the house. Princeville is only 2 miles across. After 15 years of real estate, it’s easy to get pretty familiar with the homes there (and I don’t just mean what’s for sale). And let’s face it, there hasn’t exactly been a lot of new home construction going on in the last 4-5 years.

Every now and then, though, I see a house that stands out. One that’s not 20 years old. One that’s not some bizarre hybrid of Tommy Bahama, Balinese and College Dormitory design.

Check out MLS #262443. To use a bad cliche, it’s a breath of fresh air for Princeville homes. It’s modern, livable, and very custom. (That word “custom” gets thrown around a lot, but seriously, there’s a mirror in the shower that’s heated so it won’t fog up when you’re shaving. There’s a tv embedded into the vanity so if you absolutely have to watch your favorite show from the bathroom, you can, but there’s no big box staring at you all the time. Custom.)

Notice anything missing? There aren’t any upper cabinets floating in the middle of the space, blocking the view and the flow of the room. Big clean surfaces (that kitchen island is one big beautiful slab).

And a saltwater pool, overlooking the Prince Golf Course, out to the ocean…

It was completed in 2010. It’s not a spec house. This is the first time it’s been offered. It’s listed at $2.5m. You can see the whole listing here. Stay tuned… we’ll load more photos soon. In the meantime, if you’re in the market for a very well-done house in Princeville, you should see it.
