Kohanaiki – Kona Coast’s Newest Luxury Residential Community

Kohanaiki, a newly released to market 450-acre private residential community, is a tune on the Big Island dial to “all fun…all the time.”

Designing the community around its vast natural resources, Kohanaiki offers an array of activities for residents and social club members:

  • Canoe and stand-up paddling
  • Surfing lessons at one of the Big Island’s best surfing beaches
  • “Kohanaiki Fit” course and fitness program
  • Snorkeling
  • SCUBA and swimming instruction
  • Community bicycles
  • Private sport fishing on Kona’s premiere fishing boat Marlin Magic II, along the infamous “Ono Lane”
  • SCUBA on local dive boats and enjoy the Big Island’s finest diving experience just offshore
  • Tennis courts and pavilion

In addition, Kohanaiki has a Rees Jones designed 18-hole championship golf course and driving range. Strolling through the community is a wonderful activity in an of itself on beautiful wooden coastal walkways and interior community pathways. One of the most interesting features will be a biodynamic organic community farm producing the fruits and vegetables served in Kohanaiki’s restaurants and available to members.

Kohanaiki Incentive Program

For those buyers with vision, jumping in now could net big in the long-run. Kohanaiki has established an incentive program for the first 20 custom lot purchasers (See Kohanaiki Site Map) – highlights include:

  • Kohanaiki Club Membership Fee is $50,000
  • Kohanaiki Club Dues will be waived for one year ($20,000 annually)
  • HOA Assessments will be waived for one year ($12,000 annually)
  • For two (2) years after the Closing, Purchaser shall be entitled to fourteen (14) non-peak period nights per year of complimentary overnight accommodations at the Hale Club

A handful of estate lots are already spoken for. If you have interest in checking out the “all fun…all the time” philosophy at Kohanaiki, give me a call.

Could you tell me exactly where Kohannaiki is located ( in relationship to other hotels?

Aloha Siesel. Kohanaiki, a resort-residential community (no hotel), is located about 5 minutes driving South from the Kona Airport. To get to Kohala Coast Resorts (ones with hotels), the first (heading North on the Queen K highway) will be Waikoloa (Hilton and Marriot), next is Mauna Lani (Fairmont Orchid and Mauna Lani Bay Hotel) followed by Mauna Kea (Hapuna and Mauna Kea Beach Hotels). Driving South from Kohanaiki, it will take less than 10 minutes to get into Kona Town where there are dozens of small and larger hotels as well. Let me know if you have additional questions. A hui hou, Kathryn
