Weather and Altitude

One thing to note if you have never been up to this area of the island, the climate is very different than Kaanapali or Wailea. With this altitude, and where it sits on the northwestern side of the island, you will receive more rain than the much dryer areas. This will make things much greener and cooler. It was almost cold the day we took our tour here, but very refreshing.
