Tastes of Hawaii Recipe – Hanamaulu Cafe Chicken From Kauai’s Old Plantation Days
Week 35 – Hanamaulu Cafe Chicken!
Hanamaulu Cafe Chicken Recipe
- ¼ tsp. ginger powder
- ¼ tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. salt
- 8 T sugar
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 8 T soy sauce (shoyu)
- 1 tsp. brandy
- 2 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 tsp. oyster sauce
Directions
Mix marinade ingredients and pour over cut up chicken. Let stand overnight. Dredge chicken pieces in flour and fry.
