The preparations have begun and construction on the new $90 Million resort is anticipated to begin early in 2012
The Andaz Wailea Resort will be an exciting addition to Wailea’s collection of world-class resorts and visitors will once again have a chance to stay at a hotel fronting one of the most beautiful beaches in the world—Mokapu Beach.
The hotel, a joint venture of Hyatt and Starwood Capital, will feature 35 suites and 255 guest rooms in total, ranging from 456 to 2,321 square-feet. In addition, Andaz Wailea will introduce 6 four-bedroom lavish villas of approximately 3,500 square-feet.

- A three course meal specialty restaurant

I have great memories of the Stouffer’s Wailea Resort from the 1980s. Didn’t you guys get married there? Andaz Wailea is going to make a great addition to the Wailea Resort. It’s very exciting to see some new construction down here.

Ken, It is my understanding that Andaz Wailea will feature 6 four-bedroom villas of approximately 3,500 square-feet. I’m guessing they’ll be as expensive as baccarat was planning on.. atleast $2000-$2500/ sq ft
