South Kona Coffee Estate For Sale – $1,499,000 for 31.61 Acres with Two Homes

Aloha! I went to preview a beautiful South Kona property just 45 minutes south of Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii and I wanted to share it with you. Located in South Kona, just a few miles past Kona Paradise near the 96 mile marker, sits this 31.61 acre estate (MLS# 239249) on the hill. This estate has two homes nestled on the hill overlooking Pacific Ocean views.

This gated Kona coffee estate has so many great features (the video tour went a little fast to catch everything, but I tried to get as much information as I could of the property). I hope you can get a feel for the area.

The main house has a spacious feel to it and there were many of rooms to dwell in. The main house features 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, including a private master suite with office and ocean view lanai on a private upper floor.

The lodge-style living area is perfect for entertaining with a nice fireplace and wood all around…it’s also a great room to watch a movie with some popcorn, or entertain the whole family for the holidays!

With the two homes on one property, you could have the in-laws stay in the guest quarters, and the kids and grand kids stay in the cedar house up top with the huge yard area!

The ranch house also has a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom guest quarters off the main hallway, which meanders out toward the swimming pool area. Equipped with a full kitchen, you can have the caretakers living in the guest quarters while the family and guests are away.

The guest house, located up the hill from the ranch house, is a spacious Cedar home and is therefore more termite resistant than other homes.

This contemporary-style 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom guest home with a loft is perfect for Hawaii living. Light and airy, the floor plan is set up to enjoy the magical Kona sunsets. The spacious, partly-covered lanai and the main living area nearby make this home a great place for entertaining guests and having family barbecues. The video shows a lot more detail, so please let me know if you have any questions.

The guest house also had a very expansive yard area and I could visualize lots of family fun games here.

Though most of the property was undeveloped, there were lots of coffee trees (3+ acres) above and below the homes, plus papaya, mango, banana, avocado, coconut, fig, lemon, and other citrus trees all around the property—this estate could be considered a sustainable property as there was water and growing food access on-site. All it may need are a few solar panels, photovoltaic panels and a few generators—and this property could be safely off-the-grid.

This solar-heated swimming pool completes the perfect family compound as residents and guests can enjoy the warm tropical paradise weather, hot or cold—and you’ll be just minutes away from Kona Paradise for a beach-like experience.

Bring your family home to Hawaii and this lovely property in Opihihale, South Kona! Offered turnkey furnished—this property comes with everything including furnishings, a 4×4 Ford full-size truck, and miscellaneous tools. Call me anytime to see this, or any property in Hawaii—I’d be happy to show you around!

Blessings & Aloha,
