Aloha Dan and Marion! I wonder if people are actually “afraid” of the solar energy system? Maybe the “unknown” of what it takes to maintain the system, etc. is daunting? Gosh…I’m surprised this home is still available! Good luck!

Aloha Annie, thanks for your comments. We have not had one indication from anyone that they are “afraid” of the Solar Power system. Quite the contrary, actually. Everyone has been thrilled that full solar is available on this house. The system is easy to maintain and what is not to like about saving thousands of dollars per year in energy costs? Please let us know next time you are showing property in the area, we’d be happy to explain to your buyers and show you in person how simple it is to maintain and how efficient it is on your wallet! We wish all our listings had these kind of “green” and eco-friendly features that go way beyond a simple solar hot water heater.

Aloha Dan and Marion – solar electric is AMAZING! That way you can run the AC without guilt!! Did you ever see the Hualalai estate that put $250k of photovoltaic on their roof and were running AC 24/7 for 6,000sqft off the panels alone? The technology is really incredible and the fact that we can save so much diesel makes me want to change the building laws in Hawaii completely! Every house should have one of these!! Lucky buyers…
