For those that don’t know, Pualei Circle is a hidden secret at Diamond Head.
Diamond Head at Pualei’s Leilani (MLS# 1101833) is a great building
Nestled just on the mauka (mountain side) of Kapiolani Park, lies Pualei Circle, which is a quiet little street made up of walk-up style condominiums. They are the perfect entry-level price point for Diamond Head as prices are more affordable than the Gold Coast and La Pietra. Most of the buildings are now fee simple, which has really brought up the value over the past 10 years.
There are roughly a dozen buildings, which consist of:
- Diamond Head at Pualei (which consists of 3 buildings named: Lanai, Leilani, and Manor)
- Diamond Head Alii
- Diamond Head Gardens
- Diamond Head Hale
- Diamond Head Plaza
- Diamond Head Terrace
- The Gregg Apartments
- Hale Pua Lei
- Ilima Apartments
- Pua Leahi Apartments

Although these buildings consist of studios, 1 and 2 bedrooms, I’d say the majority of the units are 1 bedrooms. Several of these buildings have pools. The most attractive thing about Pualei Circle is location, location, location…
These buildings are within walking distance of Kapiolani Park, the beach, Waikiki Shell, Waikiki Aquarium, Honolulu Zoo, and all the fun little shops on Monsarrat Ave. I’ve sold a number of these over the years and Pualei Circle always has a special place in my heart. Here’s a gallery of Pualei Circle condos I’ve created.
