New USDA Loan Program Helps Hawaii Homebuyers

USDA Loans Aren’t Just For Farmers Anymore

How long it will take you to save for a 5%, 10%, or even a 20% down payment to purchase a home? Well, you might not need to wait anymore. There is a program out there that helps many buyers realize that their dream of owning a home could be sooner rather than later, and it’s called the USDA loan. This is a guaranteed loan from the government.

Since this program rolled out, many buyers are utilizing this little to zero down payment loan program. If you meet the eligibility standards that determine if you qualify for a USDA loan, and your home is in the selected rural county/zip code, you might be eligible.

There are income limits, loan limits, and other guidelines for qualifying. It’s important to work with a lender that understands the USDA program, and a Realtor that knows which areas qualify.

For referrals to USDA lenders, or to find out qualifying properties, contact me Tara Kelly, RS, for more information at (808) 542-6014.

Tara, very informative post. This has proven to be a very good option/resource for otherwise qualified buyers to realize their goals of home ownership. Kudos.
