HAWAI'I LIFEUSDA Offers 100% Financing on Rural Maui Homes
For those considering building or buying a home in one of Maui’s rural areas, the US Department of Agriculture has a program offering full financing for rural housing.
Maui has qualifying areas. This is the only program I know of that still allows full financing. As many sellers are willing to cover the closings costs, full financing by the USDA makes buying affordable again.
