Maui Real Estate Year-To Date (January-June 2009)

Maui homes sales declined 41% compared to the previous year, while the median price went down 14% (to $510,000), the average price declined 14% (to $761,252) and total dollar volume sold declined 49% (to $216,956,818).

Condominium sales declined 46% and the median price decreased 27% (to $420,000), the average sold price went down 29% (to 685,584), and total dollar volume sold went down 62% (to $188,535,561).

Land sales declined 29% though the median price rose 14% (to $800,000), the average sold price rose 52% (to $1,433,038), and total dollar volume rose 8% (to $70,218,875).

In the last 12 months there have been 718 homes sold, 568 condominiums sold, and 79 land parcels sold.
